The switch checklist

Four clear steps. No service gap.

Start with PVE, confirm your dates, then cancel the old account.

01

Choose your PVE plan

Compare collection frequencies and inclusions. Your service inclusions and monthly price depend on the subscription tier you select.

02

Confirm your PVE start date

Complete online signup and watch for your bin-delivery, route and first-collection details before ending your current service.

03

Cancel your current plan

Contact your current provider, request written confirmation of the final service date, and ask how and when their bins will be collected.

04

Put out the right bin

Remove your former provider’s bin once requested and follow the collection instructions in your PVE customer portal.

Switching offer

Switching households can have the setup fee removed.

New PVE residential customers switching from another provider may be eligible to have the one-time bin delivery and setup fee removed. Ask the PVE team about the switching offer before signup. It does not discount monthly collection or other services and has no scheduled expiry.

Ask about the offer

Copy-and-send cancellation note

One less thing to write.

Send this to your current provider after your PVE service date is confirmed. Keep their written reply for your records.

Hello, please cancel the waste collection service at [SERVICE ADDRESS]. Please confirm my final collection date, any remaining balance, and the date and instructions for removing your bins from the property. Please send written confirmation when the account is closed. Thank you.

What is included with PVE collection?

Inclusions depend on the subscription tier you choose. The plans page lists the current collection schedule, bins and waste streams included with each option.

Where can I switch to PVE?

Residential collection is available in Pemberton, Whistler and Birken, subject to current route availability.

Can PVE help if I get stuck?

Yes. Local support is available from 9am to 5pm. Call 604-967-1476 or email info@pvenvironmental.ca.
